Price changes for private sellers from June 2013 on eBay.co.uk

Hello,

From June, we’ll be making changes to our Basic Shop subscription for private sellers. The subscription price will increase from £ 14.99 to £ 19.99. We’re also adding 20 free fixed price, 30 day or Good ‘Til Cancelled listings per month to each subscription.

Shop subscriptions are now billed for at least one full calendar month as well, and any Shop cancellation will take effect from the beginning of the following calendar month. This means that we no longer refund you when you cancel your Shop subscription mid-month.

Changes to Royal Mail First Class delivery estimates on eBay.co.uk

In February, we began testing changes to delivery estimates associated with Royal Mail First and Second Class services to more closely reflect Royal Mail’s own delivery commitment.

This week, we will implement changes for Royal Mail First Class; delivery estimates will be 1 working day. Second Class changes were made 2 weeks ago; estimates for that service are now 3 working days.

Including package with your listing

If you’ve recently listed an item using the sell your item form, you may have noticed that you now have the option of including your package details, such as package type, weight and dimensions.

Even though adding these details is optional, providing them up front when you list your item can save you time. This is because when your item sells and you’re ready to print your postage label on eBay, you won’t have to enter the package details at that time.
